The 10th AForGeN meeting will be held from 18–20 June 2025 in Tenna, Safiental, Switzerland. Organised by WSL and the AForGeN Steering Committee, this conference brings together researchers working with genetic and genomic tools to explore alpine forest ecosystems.
The network, known for achievements such as the silver fir reference genome, meets regularly in remote alpine settings to reflect on progress and plan future initiatives. The event will feature various speakers, be moderated by WSL experts, and conducted in English. Open to AForGeN members and anyone interested in the topic.
