Mediterranean Oaks Network: Report of the first meeting

The first meeting of the Mediterranean Oaks Network was held on 12-14 October 2000 in Antalya, Turkey. This network is the result of the expansion of the Quercus suber Network to include more oak species. Participants received updates on recent initiatives and relevant research. They discussed the priorities and objectives of the network and identified research needs. The report contains presentations of papers on genetic conservation and variability of Mediterranean oaks and several country reports.
