Populus nigra Network: Report of the fourth meeting
The fourth meeting of the Populus nigra Network was held on 3-4 October 1997 in Geraardsbergen, Belgium. Participants were introduced to recent initiatives and research related to in situ conservation strategies. They then presented reports on the progress of the activities in countries. Lastly, participants heard about four papers addressing genetic aspects of P. nigra. The papers and country reports can be found in this summary.
