Scattered Broadleaves Network: Summary of the first meeting

The first meeting of the Scattered Broadleaves Network, held in Copenhagen, Denmark 11-14 May 2005, was initiated with parallel sessions, wrapping up the recent activities for the earlier networks: the Noble Hardwoods Network and the Populus nigra Network. The Scattered Broadleaves Network would continue the work of these two networks. The concept of ‘common action plans’ was introduced as strategies to collect information on potential gene conservation units and their management.
